Coconut in the Roaring 40s

…I know. I wish I could say the MSc is done and dusted, but no – I have just found other ways to procrasinate. Anyway, the latest is I am now 3 weeks away from my thesis submission deadline… and I have yet to write a complete intro chapter, or any of my discussion chapter. I know, as they say in these parts, I am rooted i.e. stuffed, without a hope, drowning not waving…

Thing is I got the hard word 6 weeks ago that I get no more second chances. I have to hand in whatever I have by this deadline or I basically forfeit getting any sort of degree at all. So yeah. It was pretty harsh but necessarily so. Since then I have gotten 3 chapters pretty much completed. And I’ll be able to scrape together something passable for the remaining chapters I guess. In all likelihood, the thesis will come back from the markers saying I have to do more, but I’ll just deal with it then. Since my supervisors made me cut out a large chunk of my work from this thesis because of time issues, I will have more to put in if the assessors require it.

Yeah, so thats where I am at. In at uni now, see if I can get into the zone to write this intro chapter. I’d like to blog more but I really mustn’t procrastinate now its so close to the deadline. I’ll try and check in, in a weeks time, and keep my posts simple. Fingers crossed the intro is done and most of my discussion too.Once I submit I can spend more time on my blog – looking forward to that
